So, we had our very first meet of this semester on 15th September 2012, with major motive to form a board committee and assigning respective duties to the heads for academic year 2012-13.
The meeting was conducted by Mr. Anikait Chavan, Student co-ordinator of Kanishk in the GDPI room at cabin. The meeting started with the description of departments to be chosen by the existing members of Kanishk.
The departments in Kanishk are:
- Digital Design
The student co-ordinator briefed the members about the significance of each department and the duties which would be entrusted to the Head of the Departments. He also rightly narrated a story focussing on the importance of synchronization among the members of the team and qualities like trust and belief in work.
The department heads were chosen as follows:
- Documentation- Ms. Sneha Nakil
- Execution- Mr. Dipin Nair
- Finance- Ms. Shreyta Kulkarni
- Digital Design- Ms. Suruchi Borhade
- Photography- Ms. Neha Patil
- Media- Ms. Aishwarya Chandrasekaran
- Planning- Mr. Anikait Chavan
- Communication- Mr. Ansh Bahri
The departments of Communication and Marketing would be jointly handled by all the team members.
The meeting concluded with all the necessary tasks assigned to respective members. The objective of conducting the next meeting was the selection criteria for forming a committee of each department.
